Mick and Paul from team Numbplumz

Mick and Paul originally had a session booked in January that got cancelled when the snows came and today was the rebooked session and what a day it was.
I needed to work on their looking and body positioning and their mental skills also. A set up change helped with this and off we went to apply their new skills sets to various techniques.
I worked with them on the drop technique first and to their surprise it all came easy to them and any errors were self diagnosed already. I worked hard on their cornering and used the skills trail to develop their fluidity  and control of the trail.
Pumping, rock gardens, steps, absorbing, fly out jumps and drops were all linked to flat, bermed, off camber and switchback turns and we worked on the whole trail eventually and they were really motoring by now.
I next moved them onto riding steeper terrain and near vertical drop offs and they were stunned how easy i all felt and they knew why.
Jumping tabletops was next, and I used a 6ft tabletop for this and in a few small moves they were both sailing over it, Mick used his mental skills to decide to ride the gap jump with a big smile on his face.
To end the session we worked on pumping and jumping on another trail and linking 2 berms together with no braking between.
What a session guys.
High5!
